Designed and created by maker Faith Delozier, each of our products is made using a majority of upcycled, repurposed and rescued materials, resulting in each piece being completely unique and special. Our brand is passionate about remedying the waste of fast fashion while creating quality products that will last and be a part of the memories you make.
A note about our upcycled and repurposed materials:
Our mission of sourcing our materials sustainably means that a large majority of our materials are repurposed, upcycle or rescued. When choosing materials to work with, we carefully select items that show minimal wear and tear and are all freshly cleaned. However, because these materials are pre-loved, it is to be expected that there may be minor signs of wear such as small marks or signs or repair. These imperfections do not compromise the quality of our products and are to be celebrated as a reminder that your item is just one part of a bigger history and has been rescued from ending up in a landfill and has been given a second life.
I am a seamstress and sewing enthusiast. I was raised by a stay-at-home mom who sewed constantly for me and my sisters. At an early age, learning to sew was part of our homeschool curriculum, and once realized I could make anything I could imagine, I was hooked.
My other inspiration has been my dad. He saves random pieces of wood, rubber, fan parts, lamps because "You never know when you might need it." My dad taught me ingenuity and creative problem solving. he taught me to see the potential in the little things. He taught me to make do with what was on hand; to fix the old things instead of replacing them.
The examples of both my parents are melded into who I am as a creator and seamstress. My creative focus is on upcycling and sustainability and I plan my projects around the goal of using a majority of repurposed materials. I source from donations, thrift stores, rummage sales, and even my own wardrobe! With so much textile waste ending up in landfills my mission is to re-imagine materials that have already been produced and are now unwanted, ultimately reducing waste instead of sourcing new materials and adding to the waste. This leads to each of my creations being completely unique as the materials are always different and each speaks its own vision to me. That's part of the fun because each piece surprises even me!
